Seriously? Why another food blog?!

It’s simple really.

I got sick. Very sick. For three years. And life whirled and swirled and tossed and turned, and what was once very simple became very complicated...

Like getting out of the house, keeping up with friends, finishing the mountain of laundry.

And cooking. Cooking got really, really complicated.

I bet you’ve known complicated too. At one point or another, we all learn that our childhood dreams and youthful ideals don’t quite add up to the reality of our broken world.

But it’s in that very fragile place of disillusionment where we learn to cherish the simple joys in life. We realize what’s most important. We long to shed the complicated thoughts and emotions and lifestyles, and live…

Simply.

{By grace.}

{With joy.}

{Through faith.}

So this is my simple blog. It’s the fruit of my creative labors in the kitchen. It's the best of the gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free recipes I've tried (and boy, have I tried some). It's the specialized grocery list that's manageable and affordable. It's the tasty and nutritious snack for a toddler who has dozens of food allergies. It's the simple dinner that makes my husband go "Wow!" It's my favorite food blogs and most helpful resources—all in one place.

This is not a fancy food blog. It's just simple, beautiful fare, and it’s for you, dear reader, with the hope that it might save you some time, energy, and money in your own kitchen.

Cheers and blessings....
